R C. attended the ser vices and funeral in a body. Tbe funeral sermon was preached bv Rev. L F. Belknap of the M. K, church, interment following in the Odd Fellows' cemetery. the widow and four children sur vive, a follows: Arthur Dsiley, Laurel; Frank Deiley. Hillsboro: Mrs. Lulu Neighbor. Buiton. and Neil Dailey, Upper Matolle, Cal. REV, FRANK S. LOCKE Dinl, at his late horns on Cooper Mountain Fibruary 6. IDOti. Rev Frank H. Locke, aged 71 yeare, I month and 23 days. His death was the reault of a long sickness. Deceased was bom in Vermont, and was for many years a praclio ng physician, ciming to Ibis oouu- ty about four years ago from tbe Hood River district. Dr. Locke belonged to tbe Kvangelioal church, and Kev, Lindsay, of this city, ofn oiated at the funeral, which occur red last Sunday. Deceased is sur vived by his wild and one eon, both residents of this county. Dr. Locke usod to preach iu the Laurel die' triot, until bia health failed.
